Eric D. Strauss, M.D

Eric D. Strauss, M.D. joined the Hand Surgery and Rehabilitation Center of New Jersey in 1988. He has enhanced the center with his special interests in sports injuries and wrist arthroscopy.

Dr. Strauss received a B.A. degree from Stanford University, and he attended medical school at the New York University School of Medicine. He performed his surgical internship/residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - Rutgers Medical School. He obtained his Hand Surgery Fellowship at the Joseph H. Boyes Foundation in Los Angeles. Dr. Strauss is currently Chief of the Hand Section in the Department of Surgery for Virtua Health Systems.

He has published and presented at meetings. He is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Strauss is on the medical staff of the Virtua Hospital System.
